First I want to wish everyone a WONDERFUL New Year! 2008 was pretty great and I can only hope that 2009 will be even better :)
I had a really awesome New Year's Eve. Bret and his friends and I went to Downtown LA. We hung out for a few hours at Bret's dad's loft (which is in an amazing Art-Deco building called The Eastern downtown... soooo awesome). Then around 10:00 we walked to LA Live, which is this area of downtown with the Staples Center, Nokia Theater, Lucky Strike and some other cool stuff, that is kind of like a smaller, west-coast version of Times Square. So we went to a few bars there, had some drinks and hung out, and then at midnight they had a countdown. Afterwards we went back to The Eastern and hung out at the roof-top pool. That's where the details get a little fuzzy because all the champagne & shots caught up with me. All in all, a great night.
Now I just need to figure out how to put the pictures AFTER my post, not before. Ugh.
My Resolutions
1. Move into a 1-bedroom apartment and live ALONE
2. Eat healthier/ more often (haha)
3. Explore Los Angeles more
4. Go on a trip
Did I miss any? I can't remember.
